3. No adult images such as nudity.
4. You cannot link to competing sites.
5. All text must be in English or readable as English in the case of fancy unicode.
6. You cannot impersonate other members.
7. No linking to shock sites.
I received a "Profile Violation" warning but it doesn't say anything else. What was it for?
If you didn't receive a PM with your warning, I'm not sure. However, by reading this Help Doc thoroughly and understanding our policies, you should be able to identify the issue and prevent future warnings.
Can I use the same avatar or signature as a staff member?
No, impersonation is not allowed. Using your username, user title, signature, or avatar to impersonate other members is a bannable offense. We take this very seriously due to the high potential for abuse, and it will not be tolerated, even as a joke.
What are the rules for usertitles?
Essentially, the rules for profiles are similar to general conduct guidelines. Do not impersonate staff, harass other members, use religious or political symbols, or promote competing forums.
I have a forum or am a member of one can I advertise it in my profile?
OGUsers strictly prohibits advertising competing sites in profiles.
Can I have sexy pics in my profile?
You can, to an extent. Nudity is not allowed, and if staff deems your image too explicit, it may be removed and you could receive a warning.
Someone is flaming me or calling me a scammer in their signature. What can I do?
Contact staff please. We'll look into it.
Can I put fake links or shock site links in my signature?
No, you cannot use deceiving links, such as fake spoiler links or links disguised to trick members into visiting shock sites. Please use common sense.
